Riverwood Retirement Management to assist FARH to develop eldercare services
The Board of Directors of the Finnish American Rest Home has requested the Riverwood Retirement Management group to assist them in planning the move to our new facility. The first phase of our engagement with this group has been the operational assessment which was completed recently.
After a review of the assessment the Board met with Jerry Jaques of Riverwood to discuss a strategic plan to help the Finnish American Rest Home move forward in effort to provide quality services to the elderly living in our community and the Finnish Community.
The Board of Directors voted Monday to enlist the services of Riverwood Retirement Management, Inc toward the development of a state of the art eldercare facility. RMI will focus initially on marketing and census development as well as streamlining some of the services we are providing. The overall administration of the Finnish American Rest Home and Nursing Home will continue to be the Board of Directors.
